The Canon PowerShot S90, released in late 2009, marked the revival of Canon’s "S-series" of enthusiast compacts. It was designed to pack the high-end internals of the flagship G-series (specifically the G11) into a pocketable, sleek body.
Core Specifications
Sensor: 10.0 Megapixel 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor. This sensor is larger than those found in standard point-and-shoots of the era, offering better dynamic range and lower noise.
Lens: 28–105mm (35mm equivalent) f/2.0–4.9 with Optical Image Stabilization.
The f/2.0 aperture at the wide end was exceptionally "fast" for a compact at the time, making it a favorite for low-light photography.
Processor: DIGIC 4 image processor.
Display: 3.0-inch "PureColor System" LCD with 461,000 dots.
ISO Range: 80 to 3,200 (expandable to 12,800 in a specific low-light mode at reduced resolution)
Camera will include SD Card, Power Block, and Battery
